Workshops focus on academic strategies you need to be successful in your courses and in learning online. They are led by Learning Centre instructors, English Language tutors and peer tutors. The Tutor Tips! workshops feature panels of peer tutors sharing their own strategies. English Language workshops provide practical information and tips for improving your English reading, writing, speaking, and listening in the Douglas College courses you’re taking.

Every Wednesday, Learning Centre tutors will be studying together online. The hour starts with a quick goal-setting as we get started, then we study together to music in timed sessions. Come listen to our best study playlists and be accountable to get work done on your assignments. The Learning Centre Virtual Study Hall takes place every Wednesday during the term from May 19 to July 21, 3:30 PM.
