Steph Ford Studio

 

Steph Ford Studio is a Risograph print studio based on the unceded territories of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations. The studio opened in 2023 and is run by Steph (she/her).  Zine workshops are offered as well as other Risograph workshops.  Check here to see what is upcoming.  

COMMUNITY MADE ZINES

We bend, we don't break

An anthology zine featuring personal stories from those who have lived through addiction and loss amidst this toxic drug crisis. It was produced by New Westminster Community Action Team as part of their anti-stigma campaign. 

Paueru Gaizette No. 1

The Paueru Gaizette zines are produced by the Powell Street Festival Advocacy and Outreach Community. They include writing, illustrations and photographs and each issue explores different themes. You can also read the latest editions on their website

SAPP. Vol. 1

SAPP takes its name from the Sapperton District of New Westminster, BC. This poetry zine aims to showcase local and emerging poets, photographers and artists in a bi-annual e-zine with limited print runs. Check out their submission guidelines on their website, sappzine.ca.

What's your slice?

Sliced Mango Collective is a Filipinx youth organization focused on exploring community and culture as part of the Canadian diaspora through arts and advocacy. Their inaugural zine is composed of poems, short essays and artworks from the Filipinx community in Metro Vancouver. This and other issues are also available to read online.
