To create a Talis Resource List account, visit the home page below and login with your Douglas College credentials. As a Faculty or Staff member you are automatically granted permission to be a list creator and publisher.
Steps to setting up a Talis Resource List account:
1. Set up your profile
- Go to the Douglas College Talis Resource List homepage. Remember to bookmark the site for future use.

- Click on Log in and login using your CNA.
2. Create a profile
- Click on Create a Profile
- Complete the form and set your profile to Public. This allows students and other faculty to search for your list on the library website.
- Click Save Profile.
- If you are asked to accept a list publisher role, click Accept.
3. Install the browser extension
- Chrome Browser
- Click this link to open the Chrome extension.
- Click on Add to Chrome.
- Click Add extension.
- Right-click on the Talis Logo extension.
- Select Options and click on Douglas College.
- Firefox
- Follow this link to the Firefox Add-ons menu.
- Search for Talis.
- Click on Add to Firefox and the click Add.
- Right-click on the Talis icon and choose Manage Extension.
- Go under the Choose one list and click Douglas College.
- Safari
- Visit the App store from your Mac.
- Search for Talis Aspire.
- Click on Install and then Open.
- Enable the extension in the extension area of Safari.
- Right-click the Talis icon in your bookmark bar and choose Manage Extension.
- From the preference tab, select Douglas College from the drop down menu and save.
- Microsoft Edge
- In the Edge browser go to the Chrome Web Store.
- Search for Talis and click on the icon and select Get.
- Click Allow and then Add extension.
- Right-click the Talis logo and choose Extension options.
- Choose Douglas College from the drop down menu.
