If you would like help from someone at the library, please contact the Talis Resource Lists team.
There are a few ways to add resources to your list.
You can use the:
1. Bookmarking with the Browser extension
You can add items you like from the Douglas College Library Collection by searching through the library's OneSearch and databases. You can also use any resource found online from YouTube, websites, news sites, blogs, etc.
Once you have found an online resource you would like to add to your list, simply click the browser extension icon in your browser:
The browser extension will automatically create the bookmark with as much of the information about the item the extension can find. You can also manually edit or add more information, then click Create to add it to your bookmarks or Create & Add to List to add your new bookmark to your list.
2. Add Resource Button
You can add resources directly from your bookmark lists.
Click the Add resource button in your list.
Then you can search for the item by title or author.
3. Manually Add Resource
You can manually add items that are not available online, such as items you have created for a handout or presentation.
To add items manually to to the My Bookmarks page, click on the Add drop down menu and click Add manually.
Add as much information as possible to help students identify the item you are linking to. Include a link to the item through Google Docs or your OneDrive.
Click the Online Resource button and use the Add field drop down menu to add a web address to add your link to the item.
