Talis Resource Lists

Integrate Your List into Your Blackboard Course

Log into Blackboard and select the course you want to add your reading list to.

Each reading list can be segemented into sections (e.g. week 1; week 2; week 3 etc.). This allows you to refer to only those resources for your students for that particular time in the semester.

Please view the Creating Lists video from Talis to see how this is done.

Add a List In Blackboard Ultra

In your course, navigate to the course's Content tab. Under Course Content, click the plus icon and select Content Market.

Now look through the resources for the Talis Aspire Reading List Deep Linking tool and click it to add it to your course.

Once you have clicked it you will have to authenticate yourself. This will happen automatically; just click on the Start button to continue, click Finish Authentication, and then Done.

Once you have authenticated you can search for any of your lists that you have created.

You can now choose to select the entire list or a section of the list to be embedded into your course.

Blackboard Original

In your Blackboard course, navigate to the content page, click on the Build Content menu, and click on the Talis Aspire Reading Lists Deep Linking link.

Once you have added it, you can search for your course list and add it to your class.

From there, you can choose a section or the entire list.
