Student Research Help

Research Support

The library offers many services to support students in their research needs. We have created specific subject guides to help direct students to appropriate academic resources that are applicable to specific research topics. These guides help students identify what databases and reference materials are suited to their research topic.

Have a particularly difficult research assignment for your students?

We are happy to develop an assignment guide specific to your class assignment. Assignment guides are create to meet the particular requirements of your assignment. They can help students identify where to start their research and what resources may be best.

Guides

The library has created guides to help students with the many different citation styles and we also offer individual help to students who need a hand creating their bibliography. Students can contact a librarian in person at the library, by phone, or email for assistance.

To see all the resources available for you and your students please visit the Research Help & Guides tab on the library homepage.

Student Research Day

Student Research Day

Student Research Day is the chance for students to present their research done here at the college. If you know a student or are mentoring a student doing research with the college we have created a guide to help them develop their presentation poster.
