Learning Centre Ask-a-Tutor

Peer tutors are available by chat to students needing support for online learning skills, including learning to use Blackboard and Office365 for course assignments (Note: These tutors do not help with login issues or tech support).

Available for all courses. Choose between real-time one-on-one sessions or can submit a draft for peer feedback. Resources include prewriting, outlining, drafting, revising and integrating sources in APA and MLA.
Course Content Tutoring 
Meet with peer tutors online for course help in first-year courses such as Accounting, Business, Economics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math Upgrading, Computer Science, and Modern Languages. Course content help is also available from writing tutors for English and other writing-intensive courses. 
English Language Tutoring Professional tutors are available to work with students on English grammar and language improvement for the English writing, speaking, reading, and listening demands that you face in your courses.

Summer 2021 updates

The Learning Centre is now closed. Tutoring appointments for the Fall 2021 semester will begin again on Tuesday, September 13th, 2021.

English is the primary language of instruction at the college and the Learning Centre. However, the Learning Centre is a multilingual centre and being able to offer our services and resources in multiple languages is conducive to our goal of helping students learn and become better learners.

Resources: The Learning Centre website as well as many of our resources can be translated using the Google Translate button at the top left corner of this site.
