To share a link to resources found in OneSearch, copy the Permalink using the Permalink tool found on the right side of the OneSearch record page, at the bottom of the Tools list.
When you click on the Permalink tool, a link for you to copy and paste will display at the top of the record. Highlight and copy, then paste to share the link with others.
Viewing OneSearch records requires you to be logged in. If you click on a link to a OneSearch record and you are not already logged in, you will be prompted to enter your Douglas CNA account. All current Douglas students or employees should be able to login to view Douglas OneSearch records and materials.
Some vendors do not provide Permalinks. You can create your own by copying the Access URL link which is provided in the OneSearch record and copy and pasting it into the OpenAthens Link Generator.
The generated link can be shared as a Permalink that will bring those clicking on it directly to the resource, prompting log in if necessary.
You can use our Guest Link Tool to convert OneSearch Permalinks into a version that can be viewed by those who do not have a Douglas CNA login. * Note that access to resources themselves (such as text of an article or a streaming video) will require login.
