Changes to Public Domain December 30, 2022

As of December 30, 2022, published works will now enter the public domain 70 years after the death of the author. This is a change from 50 years. This change is not retroactive which means that works already in the public domain as of December 30, 2022, will remain there. It also means that no new works will enter the public domain until 2042.
